Mr Ian J. Harding BA FRCS (Orth)

Mr Harding studied at Oxford University, obtaining 1st class honours at Worcester College, Oxford and then continued his basic surgical training in the same city, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His higher surgical training was in the Oxford Region followed by Spine Surgery Fellowships at the Institut Calot, France and Seattle, USA.

He took up his consultant post at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in spinal conditions and in particular degenerative disease of the spine, complex spinal reconstruction and spinal deformity. His clinical practice encompasses all conditions of the spine and he has NHS clinics at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and at Weston General Hospital. Private practice is based at
The Spire Hospital (ex BUPA), Bristol with further occasional private consultations at the Waterside Suite, Weston.
